Breakfast of Champions Fat Coffee

This is my famous/controversial super delicious breakfast coffee recipe.  I don’t usually eat breakfast at all–instead I start my day extending the fast by having a coffee drink whose calories only come from fat.  It’s the intermittent fasters’ Breakfast of Champions. As shown, about 220 Kcal.

 

Breakfast of Champions Fat coffee

 

1T coconut or MCT oil; I use Brain Octane oil from Bulletproof coffee

1T pasture-raised butter; I use Kerrygold

½ T good quality unsweetened chocolate

1t cocoa-stevia-spice mix*

Optional: 2 drops orange, peppermint or other essential oil of your liking

Optional: dash of salt

 

*Make a cocoa/stevia/spice mix by combining 1T KAL stevia powder with 6Tgood quality cocoa, and 1 t cinnamon, 1/2t each powdered ginger, freshly grated nutmeg, mace, and cardamom.  You can also use allspice, cloves, cayenne, black pepper or whatever suits your fancy.   I use a heaping teaspoon of this mixture for about 20 oz of coffee.

 

Place ingredients in a blender; fill with 12-16oz hot coffee; whir for a minute or two, and enjoy!
